Please wait...The Holosun DRS-TH (Digital Reflex Sight-Thermal) is a groundbreaking "fusion optic" that integrates a traditional red dot sight with a thermal imaging overlay into a single, rugged unit . It is designed to provide users with effective targeting capabilities in daylight, low-light, and total darkness, as well as through obscurants like smoke or fog .
This optic combines two distinct sighting systems. The base layer is a standard Holosun red dot sight, featuring a Multiple Reticle System (MRS) that allows the user to select between a 2 MOA dot, a 65 MOA circle, or a combination of both . This red dot functions independently with an exceptional battery life of up to 50,000 hours and can be used on its own during the day by simply flipping down the front lens cap .
The top half of the housing contains the thermal module, which uses a 256x192 thermal sensor to detect heat signatures . This thermal image is displayed on a high-resolution 1024x768 OLED display with a smooth 50 frames per second (fps) refresh rate . The sight offers multiple digital zoom levels (typically 1x, 3x, and 5x) and features several thermal palettes, including White Hot, Black Hot, Highlight, and Outline modes, to optimize visibility in different environments . In a true fusion mode, these two systems work together, overlaying the thermal image onto the user's field of view while the selected red dot reticle provides the aiming point .
Additional key features include built-in digital image and video recording with onboard storage (approximately 24GB), allowing users to capture and review their missions or hunts . The optic is powered by two user-replaceable 18350 rechargeable batteries, providing around 10 hours of runtime with the thermal function active . Built to withstand harsh conditions, it boasts an IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating and is housed in durable 7075 T6 aluminum .
