The Kowa Genesis 8.5x44mm Roof Prism Waterproof Binoculars GN44-8 are the first high end binoculars produced by Kowa Optics since the release of the Kowa 32x82 High Lander Observation Binoculars. The Kowa Genesis Binoculars have large 44mm objective lenses, an extremely wide field of view, and an amazing close focus of only 5.5 feet. These new Kowa binoculars feature magnesium frames, 2 XD (extra low dispersion) lenses per barrel to eliminate chromatic aberration, and a locking diopter. They will also feature Kowa's C3 coating technology to maximize reflectivity which will increase the volume of transmitted light. Kowa 8.5x44 Genesis Binocular can be used in the rain and other harsh weather conditions. (Not intended for underwater use).
